Reality TV for Entrepreneurs

A brand new reality show for entrepreneurs, Unstrapp’d, is set to premier in July 2010 and will be featured exclusively on YouTube. This is the first business program to incorporate daily episodes allowing viewers to experience the behind the scenes journey as the startup company Social Spin Inc., strives to expand into a $100 million Social Media empire.

Unstrapp’d makes viewers feel like they are in the garage with Bill Gates back when he started Microsoft or in the trenches with Google as they built their conglomerate. It’s the real-life story of 8 entrepreneurs from all over the U.S. brought together through social media. They negotiated an ocean-view Orange County home as their new headquarters where they work, film and play; risking it all to build on vision. Not only does the audience get lessons in business, they will also experience the culture and lifestyle of the company and cast. The show is up for some exciting twists and turns when several single entrepreneurs living in Orange County are faced with money and temptation.

Thousand of people have already viewed the trailer, and hundreds of fans remarked the show is like “the Real World meets the Apprentice”. As new technologies emerge, one business rule remains: the importance of listening to the audience.
